Bio

Candice L. Shepard was born in the Midwest, attending the University of Illinois earning her undergraduate degree in Communications, and the University of Iowa for her Juris Doctorate. She moved with her family to North Carolina in 2006 and is now completely converted to the Southern way of living!

Candice began her career as a litigator in the Kansas City area, practicing in criminal law, first as a prosecutor and then as defense counsel, as well as Juvenile Justice, Child in Need of Care, and Domestic Violence issues. Since starting a family and moving to North Carolina, Candice has chosen to practice in the areas of Real Estate and Estate Planning.

Candice is a dedicated attorney, author, public speaker, and mother. She lives with four children, a German Shepherd, two cats, and a handful of other “critters” in Harrisburg, where kids and church activities fill the remainder of her non-work hours.

In March of 2021, Candice’s first book, “Success”, became an Amazon Best Seller, later followed by, “Women Who Shine” in August 2021. For more information about Candice’s success as an author, check out some additional press here and here!

Trey Bright

Bio

Born and raised in North Carolina, Trey Bright is a Tar Heel through and through. Mr. Bright earned undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a member of the University’s Honors Program and the Kenan-Flagler Business School. Mr. Bright continued his education in Chapel Hill at the University of North Carolina School of Law where he served as the Managing Editor of the First Amendment Law Review.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Bright practiced law in the Charlotte office of an international law firm where he routinely represented clients in commercial real estate finance, corporate finance, private equity, mezzanine financing and commercial lending transactions.

As Bright Law, PLLC’s Managing Partner, Mr. Bright is firmly committed to ensuring that the firm remains a leader in the North Carolina real estate community through a continued commitment to client service.

Bio

Jazmyn Parkan was born in Irvine, California into a military family where she later spent her early childhood in Okinawa Japan. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government and Business, she continued her education by receiving her Juris Doctor degree in 2019.

Jazmyn is a licensed attorney in North Carolina and finds great pleasure in assisting individuals and families with obtaining their dreams of homeownership.

Alongside her work as an attorney, Jazmyn enjoys spending quality time with her family and having fun at the beach.
